| It was great to see john and Bridie last week! Even though I could really see the changes in them they look really comfortable and are so well cared for, it was lovely to see. I admire you Marina for how strong you are and hope I am half as good as being a mum as you are! Thanks so much for letting us come over. Frank had a great time with all the attention he got anyways!

| Hi Annica, I totally agree with u about the way everyone highlights cancer but batten disease is hardly heard of. It is an awful disease as you are well aware and it needs highlighting more awareness is needed to show people what a cruel life debilitating disease this is and how the child suffers immensly it is heartbreaking watching yr loved ones suffer so much and lose the joy of childhood, it breaks my heart to watch John & Bridie sitting in a chair totslly dependant on others when they once ran played and laughed with other children. They are VERY special children, life is so cruel, people need to know what this disease does! x |

| Hello
My name is annica and about 11 years ago one of my best friends was diagnose with battens and just a few montha ago so was her brother. I feel strongly about it. And the way that there sister that is 12 looks after them is very special.
And the way that some people treat them is cruel as, they dont even classify them as normal individuals, and that is so cruel! Each person deserves a will to be treated right. Obviously God has given them harsh circumstances because he knows they can act strongly with it. And i second that, Georgia and he brother are the strongest i know. Im hope i dont offend those cancer patients but people raise more than enough funds for cancer patients, every research and donation these days are focused on cancer etc it is so unfair that Battens Disease patients are ingnored, they need help, and requiremnts too,
They need love, and the public need to understand their point of view and I sure do love them.

I saw your aunt (I think!) at a presentation evening a couple of weeks ago as she bravely abseiled down the YMCA building for you!
After hearing her speak about your situations and after speaking to your mum on the phone, my heart went out to you.
I will be speaking to the Rotary Club who organised the abseil so that I can abseil for your charity next year as I did it this year for my nephew's disability school!
I will also be gathering a load of mates and get them to do it too!
Hopefully it will all get sorted and we'll raise lots of pennies!

| What gorgeous children you have :) Unfortunately i know all too well about this disease as my nephew suffers from it too, he has infantile battens disease and he is 4 years old...Lets hope that they are able to find a cure for this so children and their parents don't have to suffer.

| Website Updates |
Hi Everyone,
There are some major updates to the site taking place tonight, around 1am - 5am so if you are using the site during these times it may run a little slow or some pages may not be available at those times. The updates are mainly just to decrease the current loading times for the website, as it currently runs a little slow due to she size of the images etc. There are also some slight changes to the menu, as our site is currently expanding very quickly it gets harder to fit it all in the current menu!
There will be NO change to the layout as its taken so long to get it looking good!
If anyone does have any ideas for the website, anything at all that you have seen on other websites that you have liked, please email them to me... lee@lmnetwebdesign.com and i will take a look at them.

| When I spend time with you I try make it the best,
I hear your heartbeat inside your chest,
It’s such a steady beat,
That sound I will never delete.
Your soul is so precious to all that love you,
All of us care so much for you two,
Why did there have to be such a disease,
For them to find a cure I would beg on my knees.
Those times when we hear you laugh,
We just love to take photographs,
Your two cute smiles,
Would be seen from miles.
You both mean the world to me,
I would get the army,
To fight this pain off,
So you couldn’t take-off.
All I ask is why this cruelty,
To such two beauties,
They are angels from high above,
That remind me of two white doves.
It’s all happening so quickly,
In life so early,
Two beautiful children,
Who will rest in heaven.
Who ever may look after them,
I’m sure it can’t be easy it must be mayhem,
You can‘t leave us yet,
Because you know it will make us all very upset.
